  • Hello,
My son who is now 32 is an avid bike rider and always has been. In fact he has a mobile bike repair business.

I am affiliated with the Mother of Peace Children’s Village in Ilovo. We are now developing a learning centre and I would love to include bike riding and maintenance for the kids.

The challenge is that we live in the USA. However, I will be in Ilovo the week of November 7 and would really like to meet you and learn more about your program. Am wondering if you have any volunteers or even a connection to bike mechanics who would be interested in working with some of the kids at Mother of Peace or the Indwe learning Center, as we are calling it. Biking has been at the centre of my son’s life and development and it would be spectacular if we, in cooperation with you, could give the same to the kids, developing their love for biking and the skills of being bike mechanics.

Thank you and congratulations on what looks like a wonderful program.

    • Hi Susie, we shall discuss this tonight at our monthly meeting and I shall revert soonest.
      Kind regards Sue Martin

      • Hi Susie
We don’t have any volunteers or connections with bike mechanics but are willing to donate some cycling gear to the kids at Mother of Peace. Can you give me an email address or contact number so we can arrange how we can get them to you?
        Kind regards Sue
